Thoughtful planning, research, and design for aging can improve person-centered care in senior living communities. Environmental gerontology helps to meet the needs of staff and improves the experience of residents. This session explores the power of design to shape experience in senior living communities, focusing on building and room layout and the benefits for staff, residents and families.
